Every day I meet people who ask how I did it. How I took a leap of faith, risked everything, and discovered the life I was meant to have.
Risk
In 2017, I spent the summer in Spain. Upon returning to the US I told my husband ‘We should move to Spain.’ Then, we did. Six months later we landed here with four suitcases and no clue what we were doing. It was then he turned to me and said the word that changed everything. ‘Write.’ And so I did.
Reward
Spain is fertile ground for stories and I have picked them up as they crossed my path. Writing isn’t just a passion, it’s an obsession. My laptop is full of manuscripts in one state or another. And my first book, THE GRIEF OF GOODBYE was released in Aug 2023. The Spanish version EL DUELO DEL ADIÓS is available now.
Contentment
Today, my search for happiness has morphed into hours spent writing and painting in our converted chicken coop. I am no longer seeking more than what I have on this little lavender farm in rural Galicia, Spain. And I hope you enjoy my books and the characters I love so much.
