Holy Moly! What night! Writing the third book in The Camino Family Trilogy has me in its grip. It’s always thrilling when you pick up the scent of your characters like a blood house. And you hear them speaking. The story almost writes itself.

Last night, I tried to go to sleep. I had written five clean chapters and should have been trying to quiet my mind. But Mateo and Pen wouldn’t let me. Nor the Black Wolf , a former nun, or Bob Little Feather. They were jockeying for position and to get their stories down on paper. So I was up writing until my laptop died and retrieving the charging cord from the bedroom would wake Jeff.

As you might have guessed, this book features Mateo and Pen. But this isn’t like any other ‘Camino’ story. Santiago isn’t the destination and some characters from the previous books make appearances offering hard fought wisdom to our two main characters. But in unexpected ways. Proving there is more than one road find ourselves.
